The Beauty Mark

Since 2004, Melody Roebuck has been beautifying faces all over the US. Growing up, she has always had a flair for everything glamorous, and would often style her friends and family. However, she also had a flair for writing and languages, which led her to Augusta University where she obtained a B.A. in Communications-Journalism and a B.A. in French with a minor in Spanish. She was immediately offered a position at an exclusive private school as a high school French teacher and worked there for eight years. Although she loved her students, beauty and makeup was always on her mind. She took advantage of having summers off and started her makeup journey with Elizabeth Arden in 2004. A year later, she was hired to work for Clinique. A year after that, she was recruited by M•A•C cosmetics where she obtained her certification as a professional makeup artist. Then, in 2009, she took a leap of faith, and decided to spread her wings, and start her own freelance makeup artistry business, The Beauty Mark. Since then, she has had many wonderful opportunities working with celebrity clients, film, TV, and print. She also takes a handful of weddings per year, and offers makeup lessons in her spare time.
